About The Rose Racing Report

Founded by Todd Rose in May of 2019, the Rose Racing Report strives to bring racing fans a high quality perspective of events in the Upper Midwest.

In its first three months of operation, the Rose Racing Report covered upwards of 25 events between the Upper Peninsula International Raceway (Escanaba, Michigan), Sands Speedway (Sands, Michigan), Norway Speedway (Norway, Michigan), and Eagle River Speedway (Eagle River, Wisconsin).

In 2020, the Rose Racing Report switched to video based reporting. All of those videos can be found on the website here or on our YouTube channel!

As of May 2021, the Rose Racing Report is in a hibernation of sorts as Todd focuses on his work as a sports writer at the Escanaba Daily Press.

In August of 2022, Todd joined the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead as a sports reporter covering mostly prep sports. He has also covered World of Outlaws racing while in North Dakota and written several feature stories on Donny Schatz and other area racers.

The Dr. Charles F. Ganzert Memorial Fund

In May of 2019, Todd became the first recipient of the Dr. Charles F. Ganzert Memorial Fund. The fund was established in honor of Dr. Ganzert who passed away unexpectedly in 2016. Because of this fund, the Rose Racing Report now exists.

The purpose of the fund is to help students at Northern Michigan University with discovering and fulfilling life changing professional internships.
